The Diploma in Naturopathy & Yogic Science (DNYS) is a comprehensive 2 & 1/2 Year program designed to produce skilled practitioners in natural healing sciences. This program combines theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training.
COURSE CURRICULUM
Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Science is an important course in the field of Naturopathy. This course has been developed for all those people who are interested in the field of Yoga and Naturopathy and are willing to work as a professional in this area. Since ancient times, man has liveing in the proximity of nature, where he has learned the art of living a healthy life by incorporating nature in his lifestyle. Today, with the complexities of modern life, there is even more need to adopt Yoga and natural lifestyle to remain healthy and fit.
Due to changes in the pattern of modern lifestyle and eating habits, lifestyle related diseases like obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes etc. are increasing rapidly. This is the reason why people are increas- ingly getting inclined towards naturopathy and other alternative medical methods to maintain good health, and to prevent and treat diseases. Hence, Yoga and naturopathy are in high demand in the society today. Keeping this demand in mind, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has launched this vocational course through its authorized training centers.

- After completing the program, the trainees can work as assistant physician or equivalent in Yoga institutes, Yoga centers, health clubs, naturopathy hospitals and centers of other ancient system of medicine etc.
Fee Structure
Contact admission office for current fee details-The total fee of the course is Rs. 30,000, which includes study material, processing fee etc. Examination fee for appearing in the examination will be payable separately as per the rules of NIOS. During admission, the candidate will deposit the prescribed course fee of Rs. 15,000 in the first year and Rs. 15,000 in the second year.
Passing Criteria
The candidate must obtain 50% marks in theory, practical training and sessional work
